Panda Antivirus does not have a virus. It's an online scanner. It can't give you a virus. It is one of the most well-known and widely used, especially in corporate environments. What is probably happening is that it is detecting a virus, or something on your system is whacked. :confused

I could be wrong...sorry for the false accusations. It's just that, well, when i started the popup, my AV program, Avast! (which is wonderful) said something about a virus and that it needed to stop the online scan...why do you think it did that??

Maybe competition drove Avast! bonkers

Ahh...well, you definitely should NOT have your onboard AV running while you're running an online viruscan. Never have two AV active at the same time. It should have said that at the site. For that matter, you should also turn off your firewall.
