Windows XP SP2 Slipstreamed
the next autopatcher release will probably be the patches since the release of SP2. it's been about 5 months since SP2 and the last release of autopatcher, so i would think you'll need the service pack. the last autopatcher for xp probably includes all patches up to SP2, although it may be missing a couple. from what i've heard, it's better if you slipstream the disk, then do a clean install of windows than installing windows and then installing the service pack.

Slipstreaming
How can you slipstream the Office installations, spybot and all of that stuff. The only way I know how to do it is to completely set up a clean system and then ghost it. Can you set it up on a cd to install it all automatically?

Yes you can.
You're referring to an unattended installation disk, though you'll probably need something bigger than a CD if you want to add all that stuff in.

Yeah.. My installation was on a DVD at slight over 1.5GB... Since I had a DVD I did not make any serious attmept at trimmig dow nthe installation.
One could do an installation on CD with AV, antispy Firewall and that ilk. Roughly 200MB of programs

Well for the SP2 and such

For applications you need to make silent installation packages.. there are a number of ways to do it, it really depends on what programs you are going to use exactly.
I have not tried This way But it is one way
Here is another way
MSFN.org is a great resource for silent installation switches too
