error 10047: an address incompatible
cannot enable firewall service after spyware removal
seems to occur in conjunction with microsoft antispyware
error 10047: an address incompatible with the requested protocol was used
if you get this problem, open a command prompt and type:
- Code: Select all
netsh winsock reset
reboot, and you will get your firewall back.

I don't think it's related to the installation itself of MS -- it's related to actual spyware removal. So what probably happens is that it finds something, removes it, and that is when the problem occurs.kouta wrote:thanks for the post
i realy want to know why does it happen , and why now its been more than 3 monthe since i installed MS antispy ware.
???
thanks
It doesn't happen when you install MS Antispy -- it happens when you remove spyware with it.
