OK hopefully with some help from other members this can be our place to request code. i am proficient in HTML/Javascript/ASP/Visual Basic so i can provide help and coding on this. please note that i wont be always posting the complete code, but giving snippets, helpful urls etc. Im sure there are other ppl here who can help with php/c++/perl/python.

maybe you can help with this. i have seen many sites where the background is a static image and when you scroll down, the text moves and the background doesn't. how do they do that cause i want my site to be like that.

You can make your background not move by using css
body {background-image: url(insertlocationhere); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-attachment: fixed; }

i would like to have a script (javascript),
that gives the browser a height of 300(pixels) and a width of 460(pixels) when someone comes on my website.
(so that my website will be showed in a browser size of 460 / 300 pixels)
