i need vb6 help.

i am interested how to write data in non-data area of the hard disk.
i am thinking of boot-sector (sector 63), and sectors which are not used for data storage (first 63 sectors on every partition)

i need visual basic code for the program.

Well I do a little VB6 programming but only have dealt with data area if the hard disk.

I'll post back tomorrow and tell you if I've found out how to do this.

Just one question:

Do you need this to write to multiple dirves?

Probably you'll need to use some third-party low-level libraries in C/C++ . Even in Windows API I can't find anything related to that.
