i am going to get this PC next week.. currently i am a Mac user ..uhuh.. and i want to install longhorn on it and use the new GUI.. is it powerful enough?? any comments?? coz i have left the PC world for a long time.. and i am not very familia with it now...

that will make a nice and stable system, only sata may prove tough to handle in longhorn

but the new GUI interface of LH requires a very fast computer to run that..

is it fast enough?? i cannot get anything faster than this.. as i have a limited budget

that is plenty fast and everything is over the min requirements. apparently its been installed on a 300Mhz comp with 128 or 256mb of ram so your setup is well above that. you might have a problem with the sata drive cause only the 64 bit version has an easy install on that to my knowledge. might want an ide drive to put it on

what problem i need to face when i install windows Xp?? coz i am have now decided to setup RAID-0 as well...

You will not be able to successfuly install lh on that system because only the 64-bit version of lh is compatible with SATA and you however do not have a 64-bit proccessor. YOu will need to intall lh on a ATA drive first and transfer it from there.
