How hard is it to upgrade laptop hardware?

hello

in relation to the top question ,can you upgrade your laptop......

yes you can, i had a P4 3.ghrz and was always running hot and crashing eventually , i've exchanged processor and know runs better than ever ,plus in case you would have a better processor in your hands for your extra tower. so tweak no p[robs ,destroy ,but i must warn you memorise all the screws you take and the processor generally is always the last thing you can reach,, good luck ,have fun ,and do it, do it ,do it....

I agree, I would probably upgrade nothing more than RAM since heating is an issue also there is the compatibility. Very well said Adusko, and welcome to pronet.

Well, the 256 MB stick I just got (512 total now) increased preformance quite a bit.
