Fastest machine known to man!

It is used by DOD and many other entities that can afford it. I would definitely get the boot if I posted the 39 page pdf spec sheet.

Nah...

Try the "Earth Simulator"

http://www.es.jamstec.go.jp/esc/eng/ES/performance.html

That is the fastest "machine" known to man.

top500.org keeps the list of the 500 fastest supercomputers.

The primary purpose of the DATA statement is to give names to constants; instead of referring to pi as 3.141592653589793 at every appearance, the variable PI can be given that value with a DATA statement and used instead of the longer form of the constant. This also simplifies modifying the program, should the value of pi change.

TFLOP = Tera FLoating point OPerations [ per second ]

where Tera is a metric prefix = 10^12

[1,000,000,000,000 for the metricly confused]

George, China is know for keeping secrets, and I don't believe they would be a nuclear power without at least one. I know it looks like I am paranoid about China. But if the hearings on 9-11 in Washington has taught us anything it is keep an open eye and an open mind about potential enemies. China fits in that list for me. :x

I am not so worried about china as they are smart enough to know which side their bread is buttered on and screwing up relations with the US would kill their economy. The ones I worry about are the 3rd world psychos who dont care and will blow themselves up to make a point.
