That means I could partition my internal hard drive, but I see no reason for it.

One advantage to partitioning is to have your XP on a 10GB and the rest as you see fit. If you have to reinstall XP, then your data will be safe. You'll only have to reinsrtall your apps to new partition

well a good program to partion with is called partition magic i personally refer it to you its so user friendly

Yes, we talked about it in the first page. It's probably the best partitioning program out there.
