Monitor going south

Monitor going south

Postby wlsh242 » Sat Mar 13, 2004 4:44 am

I have a really nice ViewSonic G71f+ 17inch monitor the just started acting up tonight. So tomorrow I have to go shopping for another one and need ideas. I would like a 19 inch or a LCD but mainly I'm a gamer (Planetside) so the LCD may be out. Anybody know of a killer gamer monitor.

I'll do some checking and get back with you in a few. What did your monitor start doing?

There are some very good LCD gaming monitors with response times of <20ms. try Samsung or Hercules.

Well, the only bad thing about an LCD monitor is that if left on constantly i.e. you dont shut off your comp at night then they goin within a year or two.. but viewsonic sells a nice 19 inch one i don't know the model but my friend uses it and it's really good for gaming.. it actually has a setting just for gaming

I think the lcd's are also alot better for your eyes and that really goes in to considerations when you're some one who plays underground 24/7 LOL
