Photo editing software

Postby NoReflex on Wed Oct 04, 2006 4:42 am

I need an application that could help me "clean" some .dwg (AutoCAD) files. I tried Paint but it didn't do the job, also I don't have AutoCAD installed and I don't know how to work with it :embarrassed:
Anyway I received the .dwg files and I need them for a project but there's way too mch information on them so I would need to somehow get rid of some lines and figures. Something between Photoshop and Paint. I'm not looking to become a designer I just need those files modified. Quick and CLEAN. :D
Any suggestions?

PS : I forgot to mention that the files aren't in .dwg format anymore, they were converted to .bmp or .jpg

Have you tried Paint.Net? I really like this and use it for some of my digital pics

I just installed Gimp and it has some nice features that I think it will do just fine.
First I wanted to go with Paint.NET but it requires the .NET framework and I didn't want that on my computer because I always experienced sluggish performance after installing it? Any ideas what might be the reason for that?

Not sure what .NET framework does to the system, but it surely has a lot of integrated features when it comes from Microsoft.
