Permanent safe mode...helllp....plse

drats now i catn think striaght im so frustrated..any help on this appreciated
i used vista boot pro and it fixed the problem once now that dont work
and i am stuck perm. in safe mode. there must be some file that tells
windows to boot in safe mode after an unexpected shutdown i would like to know its name.
if i cant fix this i will have to reformate and reinstall windows something i dont want to do.
just reinstalling is an even worse option as MS ( Mighty Stuppid Corp.)reinstall process moves all the old install to a special folder called
windows.old and installs a fresh copy of windows on the hard drive and when its done every attempt to access your old files
is blocked by " ACCESS DENIED "
so any help here appreciated thanks gene

It's a boot menu entry that gets one booted to safe mode and calls for a restricted startup sequence. Check the Advanced Settings page in VistaBootPRO to see if there are checks in any of the check boxes. Uncheck them if there are any that may be causing the safe mode boot.

If there aren't try to rebuild the BCD completely by booting to the Vista DVD command prompt (note that the normal command prompt in Vista will not work and you must use the one on the Vista DVD), and run these commands without the asterisk * :

* bcdedit /export C:\BCD_Backup
* c:
* cd boot
* attrib bcd -s -h -r
* ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old
* bootrec /RebuildBcd

Should you still have a problem after that, post the text of VistaBootPRO>View Settings>Detailed by right clicking the text on that page/tab>Select All>Copy and we can see if there's an entry there that is deletable :yesnod:

You can also check the boot options in msconfig
