Club Pure at Caesar's and getting down with geeks --

Following the Vanishing Point fountain show at the Bellagio, Monday night capped off with the final official Windows Vista RTM Lab event: the annual Microsoft party at Club Pure at Caesar's Palace. For the uninitiated among you, just check out last year's account of the madness and mayhem. It might be good enough for me to simply say that all the same applies. The main difference was that the "only" entertainment was the Pussycat Dolls show. Not too shabby.

Amazing edibles, top shelf open bar, mingling with MS product managers, and schmoozing with the other Featured Community forums, bloggers, and MVPs -- what more could you ask for? I saw some of my buddies from previous MS events -- Jay Kenny, Brian Marr, Shanen Boettcher...too many to name. I've mentioned them often -- enter their names in our "Search" and you'll find lots of cool info and pictures. Best of all, it was an opportunity to get down with geeks. No, that's not an oxymoron. Needless to say, it was quite a late night. I suspect someone may not want this posted, but a source told me that the bar tab alone was $64,000. Way to go MS! Nobody can say they don't give back.

What I won't reveal are the names of those individuals and their sites who partied until well into the night. I have the pictures to prove it. But I value my life and will hold them as insurance against any attempts to malign PROnetworks. Then again, maybe I'll post them. It's so tempting...
