Partition Magic 7 Error #4444
Though all my drives are working fine I ran Partition Magic 7 today for the first time in 2 months and there was something strange on it.
I have three partitions on my computer, C: (primary), D: and G: (extended logical). In PM the drive labels usually appear beside the letters. But now it doesn't show the labels, it shows:
C:?k?
D:GAMES
G:?

PM 8 has some trouble with the way that LH sets up the HDDs including not being able to see free space, so I would imagine that PM 7 is the same way.
C:\ would be your system drive, so LH would have messed with things on there, and g: is your LH drive, so that would obviously have been modified by LH.
It's normal, though you may have some problems if you need to change your disk configuration, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Okay. I'll try that.
EDIT 2:34 AM
I ran Chkdsk /F on all the drives. When Windows had restarted and reloaded I ran Partition Magic.
The error had disappeared and all my partitions were working properly again. Chkdsk must have solved the error. Which is good, 'cause I'm hoping to put in a new HDD and now I can use PM's partition copy to duplicate the partitions properly.
Thanks for all the advice guys, you've all been great
