hi I have a main partition c and I cant create new partition in windows vista Do you know how please help me

Left click the start button
right click "Computer"
left click "Manage"
Left click "Disk Management"
Right click "Disk 0 which should be your "C drive" you will get a menu

Select "Shrink volume" from the menu
a dialog box will appear after it calculates amount of available space for a new partition
use the suggested amount or less for the new partition
