What Happens when a indestructible force hits a immovable object?

I bet you all have heard this - i found real good answer and ill tell you all soon - but what do you all recon? Will they reflect, explode, implode, stop, start or what?

We touched on this in physics last year. I honestly can not remember what conclusion we came to, goes to show how much I slept during that class LOL

I'd say the immovable object is destroyed, because the indestructible one can't be destroyed, while the immovable one can be destroyed without moving. :bashhead

that is if you believe you can destruct and object without moving it an inch.

It can't be that the thing that the object is sitting on moves, because then, relative to the rest of the universe, the object itself must move. Unless.. aha.. the object is a perfect point in space and it doesn't move, the thing it's sat on kinda gets kicked and does a bit of orbiting around the point. Ack. a bit like this post is turning out

Hmm. What makes the immovable object immovable. surely nothing's immovable. oh. maybe it's tax. yep that's it :-(

Nope I give up, just going to have to wait for the answer.
