still seemed fairly cold around here this winter, so other parts of PA must have been real warm.

This was the first winter I can remember that I didn't wear a hat, sweater, or scarf even once. And I only wore gloves to clean snow off the car, not because of cold. I always remember several periods of extreme cold every winter, like in the teens down to zero. I think we had one or two nights like that. Usually around here, people get very excited at this time and start counting down the days to spring. That isn't happening this year. It's almost like we went from fall into the beginning and end of winter without winter itself.

There was a real cold snap for us in the middle part... but other than that, it's been MUCH warmer than normal. We had 70 degree days back in January and in Feb had nearly a week of them.

It's 45 today for a High, but it'll be 75 in two days. Weird weather...

we only had a few warm days this winter and it's been fairly cold the rest of the time. i remember colder days in years past, but i think it's been colder here through the second part of winter (Jan-Feb) than most other years.

It has been real cold this winter and it has been cold longer and more consistantly than normal. Usually we get a fews days each winter where it would get to 50 or maybe even 60 every winter I can think of. But this year it has bearly ever gotten to 40 this winter here. It has consistanltly been atleast in the 20's or below the whole winter with the exception of a few days. So I have a hard time believing that map show me that here in New Hampshire that it has been above average. Escpecially since I know how much we have had to get heating oil and how much it has cost my parents to heat the house this year.
