Afternoon all,

Is it just me or is it that every time Microsoft release a decent beta program they never seem prepared for the amount of interest it generates.

I refer to the collapse of the Authenticication Servers yet again, when will Microsoft make some changes to their systems to support a greater demand. They could of at least enabled telephone activation in the Office 2007 Beta which seems disabled.

Anyone know how long it might be before I can activate my office, i can only open it 30 more times, have left it open for now and left my PC on so I can stretch it out as I have been using Office 2007 properly for quite a while now for my day to day work as I believe it to be quite stable.

Thats my gripe anyhow.

Unfortunately it doesn't look as if they were prepared for the massive amount of downloads yesterday. Hopefully they will have this fixed soon, as they are certainly aware of the problems. Once it was released, the news spread rapidly across the net, and unless you were one of the early ones to download and activate, the activations servers have been hit or miss.

All you can do, is keep trying

I was able to get Office Pro yesterday, but everything else gave me errors.......... will try later today, as I'm still working on my Vista downloads

Im also having problems with activation, it always says it cannot make a connection to the internet when my internet works fine. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I haven't been able to even get in to download it yet. Everytime I try, I get an "All Servers Busy".
