Odd OE6 issue

Postby mooseantlers on Mon Jan 05, 2009 5:13 pm

Use XP pro (fully updated) and OE6 (again, as updated as possible).

Within the last couple of weeks, have gotten an odd message 'the address book failed to properly load. Reinstall Outlook Express.' This message does not appears every time I use OE6, it's more like 'once in a while'. Thing is, the address book is fully available.

I'm not making an accusation, but it seemed like this started when MSoft released that last Tuesday security thing.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I've not had any customers report any OE problems recently................. not to say you aren't having one. Is there an error number or something like that? That would help if it exists

There is nothing else other than what I indicated. No error number at all. Since the address book is fully available, I can live with with having to click through the box, although it is annoying.

Thank you much for the reply.
