Now you can't be to young... but at least I'm not the "baby" of the group anymore, LOL. Thank you Bartek and Eric, lol. j/k guys...

To bad we can't get that birthday mod installed.

Again weaver, welcome to the site, and our crew.... glad you're here. I've been very impressed with your helpfulness.

Ahh, your probably right. Nineteen doesn't necessarily qualify as a baby anymore. It is just that in my experience, even with where I work, some people have problems taking help, or constructive criticism from a "kid" half their age. Some people.

Public Keys

The primary purpose of the DATA statement is to give names to constants; instead of referring to pi as 3.141592653589793 at every appearance, the variable PI can be given that value with a DATA statement and used instead of the longer form of the constant. This also simplifies modifying the program, should the value of pi change.

Hi everyone!

I'm very new to this board (I registered a few months back but didn't have a lot of time to participate because of work). Now that my biggest project at work is almost complete, I'll have much more time to join in on the discussions. I love the idea of a message board that is dedicated to more than just one operating system. Personally, I like using both Windows XP and Linux.

John,

I've been using Linux for about 3 years and would love to help out in any way that I can. I've really been looking for a message board that I can fit in with. Also, I like the way people don't put each other down here (at least, I haven't seen anything like that yet).

So, if I can help out in any way, please let me know.

Chad,

I'd really like it if you could help out here... maybe help us get some more Linux, Unix, and the like fans in the forum. Not only do I hope to help more people with this OS's but it also gives us Windows users a good chance to look at *nix in a serious way. Any ideas you have are welcome, and you are right about us not flamming anyone here. It's been one of our best features since day one on the forum... no bad mouthing.

Thanks again, and I look forward to working with you more.

I'm looking forward to helping! I'll be visiting the Windows forums a lot, as well. My boss wants me to get my MCSE so I'll probably need all the help I can get........

I have a computer club meeting next Tuesday. I'll make sure everyone knows of this site.
