New Acer with Vista Home Premium

Hey guys,
I just bought a new Acer laptop 16" screen, the AS6920. I am running home premium and when i go to websites, all of them are fast and all, but when i go to Gmail, it is slow. Anyone ever experience this?

I've never noticed that. Wonder if it could be your anti-virus or malware software slowing things down?
