this is cool but does not apply to me
have an acer with 160HDD in 2 partitions(c,d)
C has vista, d has xp-so I don't need to compress, re-partition or rename anything.

just need a step by step on how to do vistabootpro so I don't make any mistakes.

Originally, I was experiencing some probs with vista. So I installed xp on D and it was running ok, but never could go back to Vista. Then decided to go back to Vista, did my vista recovery and it worked fine.
At this time, i installed vistabootpro to access my xp and upgrade it.
I always saw the option for 2 os in my startup, but never tried the xp.

But then,, i started experiencing vista probs, and thought to put a new xp on d. But then found out the my vistabootpro was not right so I am back to square 1.

Now I want to do it right!

I'm running xp now, have vistaboot pro, but not sure how to do it properly to access my Vista system.
Thie is what I need, hold my hand and guide me thru the process with any pitfalls that I may encounter.

Or show me a link where some one does this.

Thx
