Postby chrisbirch1987 on Sat Aug 09, 2008 5:05 pm

OK.

I have two Hard drives, both sata. On drive 1 is Windows Vista which came pre installed on my system
On drive 2 is an install of XP.

But now when I try to boot into Vista it wont let me. Even if I unplug the XP HDD.

Please Help.

I also want a boot menu so i can go back to xp if I need 2.

Cheers!

Or he could unplug his XP drive, boot to the Vista DVD and do a startup repair. Reboot to make sure it worked.
Then plug XP back in while bios is set to boot to the Vista HD.
Then follow Dual Boot Trouble Shooting Guide / Vista Running

Bunches of options :)
