The dummy answers every phone ring as a fax and it overrides my installed software. Any way of stopping that. Thanks Billy

Hi, Ok.. Click Start-> Control Panel. Now click "Printers & Other Hardware" if you are viewing the Windows XP Style and choose "Printers & Faxes" If you are using Windows Classic style simply Double click "Printers & Faxes". Now right click on the faxes icon and choose the "Devices" Tab. Click On The modem and choose properties. Now click the Receive Tab and in there choose "Manual" as the "Answer Mode" and click ok.
