Microsoft Outlook 2007 going crazy
For whatever reason, Microsoft Outlook 2007 opens itself up, not one time, but enough times that the computer runs out of memory and resources. I haven't counted the number of instances that are open, but best guess is around 50, and then I get a dialog box that says the computer has run out of resources, close some programs or something like that. I have run, NOD 32, Ad-Aware etc and they finds nothing?????????

Re: Microsoft Outlook 2007 going crazy
I found this at eggheadcafe.com for a similar problem:
Get rid of (delete) the Outlook icon on the desktop. It isn't a
shortcut but a namespace extension to the dekstop (i.e., an object) but
doesn't support checking if an existing instance of outlook.exe is
already loaded. Replace it with a shortcut to outlook.exe (if you need
the desktop icon) which includes the /recycle parameter in the command
line. Add that parameter to all other shortcuts you have to start
Outlook. Then if outlook.exe is already loaded, the shortcut brings
focus to the existing instance of outlook.exe rather than starting
another one.
Re: Microsoft Outlook 2007 going crazy
No desktop icon to remove, I did however remove the one on the "start menu, program files" the one that appears in the list when you click on "Start" we will see if that helps.
I also pushed and pulled on the email icon button on my keyboard just to make sure it wasn't stuck clean forgot it was even there, as I have never used it to my knowledge LOL
