You won't be able to reflash the BIOS using ASUS's Windows app to an earlier version, try the DOS way. Be very careful here as you could make a very expensive doorstop! I never flash my BIOS unless I have a solid reason to do so, like when I went from a single core to a dual. Hang on for some more opinions.

Thanks! How should I perform this CMOS reset?

It's in your manual, as we have almost the same board, you move the jumper from pins 1/2 to 2/3 for some 10 seconds, put it back in place and reboot. Make sure you first turn your power supply off!!!

OK thanks, and where are the pins located on the board? I cannot find the manual. Should this work to solve the problem?

See the oragish/yellowish SATA connectors, they are right there, 3 pins, to clear the bios you turn off computer, remove the battery very carefully remove the battery, I say that twice because it is very fragile, then move the jumper to pins 2 and 3 for a few seconds then put the jumper back on 1 and 2, replace the battery, power back on holding down the del key to get into the bios.

Would it be possible to mark it on the picture. I want to be 100% sure, so that I don't muck up anything else! lol
