Members are reminded that Making changes to the Windows Registry is dangerous, and should only be attempted by advanced Windows users.

Registry changes can sometimes damage Windows, and PROnetworks cannot be held responsible for damage to people's computers who might use these Registry tweaks.


And, just my personal opinion -- the Registry tweaks can certainly improve performance, but the other tweaks suggested will mainly be useful for older hardware --- performance gains on a modern 2008-era rig will exist, but be minimal ;)
