Anyway, so finally found out what Anna was doing in Australia; only Libby, Echo, and Sayid are left.

So does she remember him? She gave him a weird look when he said something about trying to remember where he know her from.

They can still show her story if she is dead. If she is dead she will still be in flashbacks. So they can do it that way.

They wouldn't have revealed the info about her being in the asylum with Hurley if they were going to kill her off right away.

Well, what about the Christian<->Anna-Lucia tie they revealed in the very same episode?

I think they just needed to tie up the loose ends for Anna. It also showed her tie to Jack beyond the run-in at the airport bar before the flight.

Everyone assumes Anna went in there to question him. We know he was untied bc the ropes are cut on the floor. They'll assume he broke free, got the gun, shot her (which means Michael has to move the body - prob how he'll eventually get caught), shot Michael, and the other woman. Then he escaped (theoretically).

Needless to say this is all building up to a showdown between the others and the survivors I think. Michael must be doing this as part of a deal to get his son back... though he's always been a tad odd IMHO (Michael that is).

After watching that Dharma and Hanso video I realize now this is just one experimental station of like 6. Something tells me we're about to discover more than just the two we have already.

Probably because they do not want him to reveal anymore information.
