And no one here feels like discussing it?

Do any other insiders visit here? I haven't been able to sign onto Lindows Insider Forums for about a week now. Anyone else having problems with it?

About Lindows

Postby paulius on Fri Oct 11, 2002 4:11 pm

My opinion is that Lindows is only trying to make money woth their so-called "Click-N-Run warehouse"! I mean come on! For me it's really fast to find applications I need from downloads.com. Also if you think Lindows is better than a free version of Linux you are false because you can get the same Linux kernel from www.sotlinux.com.

Download.com has a bunch of demos and shareware. Click-n-run has ALL free software - even some free comercial software - like StarOffice

Lindows finally cut me off. I suddenly couldn't sing in anymore as an insider. Had a devel of a time finding out why. It turns out that they had problems with American Express cards (I'll never use Amereican Express cards again for another reason) the day i signed up and my account was never charged. I am now not so eager to spend the money again to sign back up.
