Let's go with a news ticker... or scroller - You choose
On the "New Posts" page we currently have news displayed below the New Topics. This was done to compliment our brand new news areas in Wordpress.
However we've had some RSS parsing issues, etc and I think AJAX is just cooler anyway.
Which of these do you like? The scrolling or the ticker?

scroller. what would be cool is if you could get it to do a constant slow scroll, sort of like the cnn headlines at the bottom of the screen when you watch it on tv.

I like both of them, but I go with scrolling.

Might be possible... have to play with the settings

Definitely scrolling. As a guy (I'm visual) with a touch of OCD, I find the ticker annoying because I can't tell whether or not I've missed something. I get lost and confused. With the scroller, it's easier to see that the headlines are moving up one by one.
I hope that makes sense!

Makes perfect sense Larry. I hope I'm not OCD too.
