Laptop lost power
My friends laptop lost power and when he powered it back up it took about 10 minutes for the Windows loading screen to pass and when it came to the logon screen no users were listed.

How old is the Laptop, and is it still under warranty?
When you say lost power, how exactly did it lose power, e.g the battery had fully discharged, or was the battery not in it at all just had DC power cord, and had a power failure, or what?
