We could always choose another one ;)

I have more than several rants about Bush... and remember, I voted and elected him too, so I have all reason to rant. That was my first time voting for President too... what a lesson I've learned.

I am not blaming Bush for 9/11 I'm blaming for his actions of starting the war with Iraq. Let's not get off track here.

>>It is also widely believed that the current Bush Administration knowingly misled the people about the war in Iraq. <<

Widely believed by people who have an axe to grind, don't like Bush to begin with or buy into conspiracy theories. Where is the PROOF??

This is just more speculation and opinion.

And this 511 page report shows conclusively how/when and where President Bush exaggerated or lied to American people?

I find that hard to believe. Otherwise the press would make a bigger deal out of it.

U.S. INTELLIGENCE

White House inflated terror ties, senator says

A Senate Intelligence Committee Democrat contended the panel's report fails to probe the administration's exaggeration of links between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda.

WASHINGTON - A senior Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday accused President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney of exaggerating the links between deposed dictator Saddam Hussein and the al Qaeda terrorist network.

Michigan Sen. Carl Levin's charge indicated that the committee's long-awaited report on flawed U.S. intelligence on Iraq, due to be released today, would do little to quell feuding over how forthright Bush was in making his case for last year's invasion of Iraq.

Levin told a news conference that the report by the Republican-controlled panel would be ''intensely and extensively critical'' of the CIA for producing a key 2002 assessment that wrongly claimed that Iraq was hiding illegal weapons programs.

But the report, he said, would paint ''only half the picture'' because it wouldn't examine ``the central issue of the administration's exaggerations of the intelligence that was provided to them.''

''As the Intelligence Committee report to be released tomorrow will indicate, the CIA intelligence was way off, full of exaggerations and errors, mainly on weapons of mass destruction,'' Levin said Thursday. ``But it was Vice President Cheney along with other policymakers who exaggerated the Iraq-al Qaeda relationship.''

so a DEMOCRAT is saying that Dick Cheney exaggerated the Saddam/Al Qaeda link but it was the CIA that did the working over of the Iraq WMD issue?

Wasn't it George Tenet that was head of the CIA that resigned not too long ago?

it is a shame those lives were lost for nothing, mistake and lies. lives of young people who thought they were defending their countries, freedom and democracy. dead soldiers brought home and buried without ceremony. every dead Iraq tagged TERRRORIST even unborn babies.

go tell them that CIA made mistake, go tell them that the president wouldn't have authorise the war had he known all the facts. i am sure every president/priminister have their team that analyse and review every informations collected by security and intelligent department before taking action based on that information. i think they should be responsible for those lives lost not the FBI/CIA or MI5
