Well, actually it was John's grandma haha, yeah grandma! I've only had it a few hours, but so far...it is super cool. I'm not one to have all the latest gadgets so this is pretty cool for me haha.

I have to admit I'm jealous of the built in browser on that device. Apple does that incredibly well. My mobile device can't even compare - the Apple touch screens and their mini-view of the internet (as you'd see it from a PC) are incredible.

This is off topic, but have you checked out the latest versions of Opera for Windows Mobile devices? I think it may still be in beta, but it's definitely much better than any other browser I've used before on my phone.

Wow, that was awesome. Thanks! I only have an 8G, but I figure I can just rotate stuff on and off. I'm really interested in Scrabble.
Have you tried watching rented movies from iTunes on it? I have a long plane ride coming up and I thought I might rent my own in-flight movie haha. Does the battery have enough juice for that?

Re: iPOD Touch suggestions?
Scrabble has been loads of fun, I've played it numerous times with my girlfriend. We always play "Pass n' Play" from the "Custom Play" menu. I personally haven't played any rented movies onto my iPod Touch (but i have for my Apple TV).
Now then, for your trip I have a few basic battery saving tips:
Movies do take A LOT out of the battery, try to watch the movie before playing a game to ensure you can watch the movie in it's entirety.
Hope I was able to help some. Have fun with your new iPod Touch!
If you need anything else, ask.
Now then, for your trip I have a few basic battery saving tips:
- 1) Turn off the Device when not in use. Mine seems to lose battery when asleep too, who knew? ["hold the 'hold'-button for five seconds and swipe"]
2) Turn off Wi-Fi when not in use, especially while in the air (its useless up there). [Settings >> Wi-Fi >> "press on-off switch"]
3) Lower the brightness significantly, you don't need a ridiculously bright screen for everything. [Settings >> Brightness >> "slide the slider to the left"]
