by the way, BAZ i am on @home {Tilburg} too with 2560kbps, and the speed will be increased to 4000kbps come july 1st.
in the beginning, {A}DSL was reliable and speed was quaranteed, but due to the fact that competition and need to stay alive have always been a great problem for them. DSL providers have resorted in providing free and cheap USB modem which does not quarantee half of promised speed. and i believe that if they fail to formulate another game plan soon they will not stay longer in business

did you know your dl speed in KB/s is eight time smaller than it is specified in Kb/s ...
most people don't make a diffirence between Mb/s and MB/s or Kb/s and KB/s
Byte consists of 8 bits.
providers display their speeds in Kb/s and if you see 10 Mbps you say wooooooooow, 10 MEGABYTES per second...
ten megabytes my a**
that should be clear to all of you.
(sorry for writing confusing posts)
