Did you install IE8 B2 on your signature rig?

After I posted in the "microsoft.public.internetexplorer.beta" NG someone posted they had no problem w/ Photosynth & this beta in Vista x64.

All the other tips & suggestions over there only deal w/ security settings & addon being enabled using the addon manager. Maybe its a x86 OS thing

I have it installed in Vista Ult x86.

sorry for the delay in responding, missed this somehow, yes it is on my signature rig JD

I am having a issue with Comcast mail, with IE 8. When you go to email main page it is fine, but once you open an email the buttons at the top disappear e.g. Get Mail, Compose, Video Mail etc
Here is main page

here is a email open, notice the buttons at the top are gone.

Ok I.E. 8 is driving me nuts, pages are not rendering correctly, pages with pictures come up totally blank and say it is done in the bottom left, and or course my previous post problem with email.

So how do I get rid of it, do I intall I.E 7 because I can't find a way to uninstall it.

In Vista x86...
I dumped it last night as I had it installed on a non-testing partition.

Just go to the control panel/add remove programs/MS Updates, find its line & uninstall it.
It replaced it w/ IE7.

On another forum I visit, IE8 is causing issues with the .NET app that was developed there for PPC phones and causing several issues for some members. Seems in all I read that it's more of a pain than anything else.

Thank you, I had checked programs and features before and even chosen the show installed updates, but apparently in my frustration I overlooked it last time. I found it this time, as I had counted to 100 first LOL
