Is there seriously not a version of the IE 7 Beta for XP Pro 64? I couldn't find one on the Microsoft website. Very sad.

Nope not available for XP Pro x64 weazzle - I've tried to find it as well and also only got an evaluation copy that will work on 32-bit Windows from TechNet with my monthly DVD shipment :no

No, that's an old one I believe, and the current IE7 public pre-Beta 2 that's going round is a more recent one -- that you can't use in Windows Vista ;)

But when the new CTP comes out, it will have a newer IE7 :)

Ya, that's what I was saying. I have the same problem with OneCare. I would love to use it, but I can't. Well, I could install it on another partition or on my laptop, but the idea is to test it and I really don't use XP enough on my main rigs, and I don't want to want to install something that I already know is quite buggy on my laptop.

I'm not testing OneCare for exactly the same reason, I just NEVER use XP (although I have it installed) --- simply because I dislike the OS, and always have done (although the SP2 release has made it acceptable ... ) :roleeyes ... :P

Windows XP x64 and Windows Vista (the x64 especially) are just so superior to XP x86, in all the most basic ways :whistle

Using OneCare would be like one step backwards -- two steps backwards  :P

(whoops, did I just hijack this thread    :P )
