As advertised, 7.1/0.768 and I'm just a tad under the ISP average. Oh, this is cable.

Do you get those speeds at a sustained rate? I'm only asking because the "SpeedBoost" that Comcast has tends to skew tests such as these and I always got higher results than actual sustained speeds when on Comcast.

We have an insane upload speed here at work. I've never seen one so high. If I were to test this at a non-lunch hour, it'd probably be higher. :-?

OK, don't laugh

The fastest DSL we have here is 4Mb/s and that costs more than $300 per month with a 5 GB cap. I can't justify that cost as I could while having it expensed at the business I sold a few years ago, so I'm down to a crawl. It takes me 16 or more hours to download a Windows 7 OS and if power cuts either here or at the ISP server, even longer. Oh yeah, the ISP's here reset the modems quite frequently to read usage I think, usually round 6 am and 6 pm, so one's gotta watch the time and pause the download or lose it and start again  Just one of the joys of living in a uhm...developing nation.
