Installing Mac OS X On A PC

Postby Odais » Wed Aug 03, 2005 9:47 pm

Welcome to the boards moncici! Take a look around, we've got loads of advice and info to offer.

And as far as I know, PearPC doesn't support OS 9. I think it only supports OS-X.

Course I guess the first step would be to actually go buy OS X ;)

That's a very strange problem to get moncici...

I'm not sure, but I think that PearPC has problems on laptop machines. You said that you tried it on another PC, but was that a full-sized PC and not a laptop?

Well, just one thing that you could try:

key_toggle_full_screen = "Alt+Return"

On Mac keyboards, the ALT key is used for selecting menus. That always gave me trouble when I use PearPC because I'd press ATL+Return and the menus would go haywire.

So instead I changed it to:

key_toggle_full_screen = "F10"

Perhaps if you did the same it might help you.

Hi Odaise Gaelach,

I have the same opinion that it is a strange eror.I am so close to the end but it does not works.
My other computer is intel celeron ~3 Ghz 256 Mb ram normal PC. I had same problem on that also.

I try your solution it does not works. There is two possibilities I thing one is my screen card ( I am sure both not low that 32) or the mac os x ıso fıle ıs not good.

I will try to find out the reson first becous I do not want to pay nomey to a new mac os x for nothing.

Thanks for your interest.
