Installed VistaBootPro, unable to boot into any operating system

Postby eli2k » Wed Jul 23, 2008 4:17 am

Hello - I had Vista installed by default, then installed XP into a second partition so I could dual-boot. I tried to use VistaBootPro to let me boot into both operating systems, but now XP refuses to load due to ntldr error, and Vista does not boot properly as it goes into some recovery console (it is a Lenovo laptop). What steps can I take to recover at least the XP system?

update: forget it, I just reformat the whole hard drive and loaded just XP on it.

Thanks,
- Eli

Do you still want to dual boot with Vista?
