Installed Multi-core SMP in VMWare 1.08 in Windows 7 X64

Following Augie's instructions from this multi-core-smp-in-vmware-1-08-installation-guide-t104869.html thread and a couple tweaks or changes from another

I Installed Multi-core SMP in VMWare 1.08 in Windows 7 X64, I messed with this for close to 2 hours to get it to work, but finally got it going and it is folding at least as fast as it was in Windows 7 X86, e.g. a 2669 WU is taking right at 14 min per % just like it was in Winodows 7 X86 on my P5W DH Deluxe with a Core 2 Duo E6600 CPU and 4 GB Ram.

I am running SMP on both my machines.
The first is with a Q6600 and takes about 14 min per % and the second is with the new Q6700 and is currently running at 13 min per %.

I will have to break my system down in about 3 weeks and i might just start to tamper with things like switching the GTX295 from the Q6600 to the Q6700 just to see if the performance will improve.
My new PC also has faster ram (4gb DDR3)so maybe i can just squeeze a bit more out of it without overclocking.
STILL LEARNING

LOGIC CAN GET YOU FROM A TO B BUT IMAGINATION CAN GET YOU ANYWHERE
