Try changing your drive controller in the BIOS, to AHCI instead of SATA or IDE if you have that option in your BIOS.

Sorry but we don't support pirated software so we'd really prefer not to know you are using a pirated copy of XP :whistle

The only thing I can think of is that your SATA drivers are not correctly slipstreamed or that you need to borrow or buy a floppy drive. Did you download the drivers from here: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Mot ... uctID=3009 and extract the SATA drivers? Quite honestly, you shouldn't need SATA drivers for XP for that motherboard.

You could try to slipstream SP2 or SP3 into the Windows XP CD too as they probably have updated SATA drivers included.

Let us know how you go and what your final solution is.

aye, thats where i got them.

but i've just noticed there is 2 drivers
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Moth ... #anchor_os

one for sata/raid and one for sata/ahci

i used the sata/raid one.
would using the sata/ahci one make a difference?

i didn't download the chipset/lan driver pack either, which seems to have another sata/raid driver in it..

Yeah give them a try and it may help to include the chipset drivers in your slipstream too so that setup knows what it's looking for in terms of SATA drivers. Are you sure you don't have an option in BIOS for HDD controller mode where you can select SATA, IDE or AHCI?

i looked in every single bit of the bios and couldn't see any option like that.

will slipstreaming more than 1 driver cause a problem?
if i slipstream the sata/raid, the sata/ahci and the chipset drivers all in the same install it wont confuse it or anything?

One doesn't know what has been done to stolen/pirated software before it's made available so it's really hard to try and give you any answers. Try slipstreaming SP3 or SP2 which ever it doesn't already have. After that I'm afraid you're on your own with this.

Hello everyone ,

I was wondering , if i have to go throw all of that Complicated Steps , Why i bot this software ? :question

the software (DualBootPRO 1.0) ,supposed to do everything for me , consider me as a ignoramus about PC

anyway , this is my Problem , i have 5 partitions C:\ , D:\ , E:\ , F:\ , And G:\ , and i have Only windows 7 installed at C:\ Drive ,

i want to install windows XP at D:\ Drive , so this is what i did :
1) i install XP normally at D:\ Drive , and when i finished that , i lose access to windows 7 (of course) .
2) when i am on XP , i install .NET framwork 2 , then (DualBootPRO 1.0) , i went to (SYSTEM BOOTLOADER)
3) i choose (Windows Vista or windows 7) Radio Button . and i choose (All Drives) , and then i click at (installBootloader) Button .
4) i went to (Diagnostics) , and i only find windows 7 there .
5) i restart my PC , and i went automatically to windows 7 (No DualBoot screen appear) ,
6) when i try all of what i just say on windows 7 , the result will be same , BUT this time i will boot automatically to XP , aaaaaaaaaaah , what a silly Game ???!
See this Pictures :
