my pc was getting killed by spyware cookies out of that incredimail prog...

before i formatted i tried everything and my trojan hunter kept lockin up on restore in system32 and i couldnt do anything

We've spoken about Incredimail before and how it's linked with spyware. Personally i wouldn't touch it because of that. I remember downloading it a long time ago, and when i used adaware, to my utter amazement i had about 200 spyware on my computer. I quickly cleared adaware and deleted Incredimail. :yesnod:

Incredimail no longer contains spyware...you must have been running an older edition...I have run Adaware 6 Plus and Spybot on numerous occasions...there is no spyware anymore...there is one registry alteration that it tries to make which can be denied if you use Adaware...I have been using the current Incredimail ap for over 8 months now...and know many many people running the same program...None of us have had any problems what so ever with spyware.

Here's a copy of the scan I have just done to prove my point:

overall increimail is a great mailing client with loads of things you can do ..

when i first used it everytime my pc boots spywaresweeper runs auto and everytime it finds a incredimail cookie even though i havent used incredimail .... it never caused any probs before .. but i think i had a trojan or worm and it cloned the cookie as i couldnt do nothing and my pc stop doing anything it got to a point it struggled to boot up it was well slow..

I don't know what to tell ya' sweetie...I've never had any problems with it...neither have any of the 100's of people I know from the graphics groups I have been a part of...I still think it must have been one of the older versions...I do hope you get everything back the way you want it tho'... :yesnod:

not sure .. it might not of been incredimail... it might of been something else that was causing the problem...

its just that the only thing that popped up when i ran trojan, virus and spyware tests was the incredimail spyware cookie..

if no one else has had problems with it .. something else must of been upsetting my pc :roleeyes
