IIS FTP issues

Postby Sisco22 » Wed Apr 07, 2010 6:50 pm

Hey guys,
Its been a while since i've been on here. Alot of stuff going on in life and all.

So i am having a problem with IIS FTP using WinSSHD to set up the encryption and all. We have a security cert that we install after we create the username and password and we log into the local box with that username and install the cert. We have the directory that the user is linked too and anytime they go to retrieve files now, they can't access them. They get Access Denied. This just started happing a few days ago and everything was working fine up until then. I created a new account (test account) and it worked fine. Any clues on what i could do to fix this? I can't think of anything else.
Thanks.

Have you read or checked your Security event log

You could try clearing any existing Security log entries, and then stop and restart the IIS service to clear any possible cached entries
