well just like the Subject says states, i am looking to Lure about 50 Virii into a special folder that will be moniterd by a couple of seperate services that are running in the background... these services are Mc Afee 8.0i; Latests Definitions as i just finished Updating, MSAS ( M$ AntiSpyware ), Ad-Aware Professional, and my self watching from outside the VMWare Mechine.

i also have Mc afee 7.1 running from my Windows XP Pro Host OS, and MSAS is running too.
i am aslo monitoring this mechine from a seperate System Via VNC. so i dont think i am in harms was, as everythis will be going to this dedicated system.

Is there any special ways of obtaining Virii or shouldi just start using WinMX, Kazaa, E-mule, E-Donkey, Ect and type in Virus?

well i have a Westell router, but the mechine is having all major ports forwarded to it right through the router, and my Mac from this end is being blocked by the router. Both the "lure" mechine and the host mechine (my mechine connected via a seperate router connected to a hub then connected to me three times.) are connected to each other via VNC. both routers are the same modle, mine here has a major firewall on, and i have my Mc Afee Firewall is on.

i know that i am safe here at this end, as i am on a diffirent subnet then the lure mechine. and the lure cant see me, i am just controling it. there is no waythat the viruses are going to get to me. i dont plan on executing them just luring them in to my lure system.

I have absolutly no BAD intentions with these files. kinda adding to an archive. and ofcource to check out the code. some may be compressed, but well i have been coding and "stuff" for about 13 years, i think i have a few tricks up my sleeve.

I had a small collection of virii when I was active on usenet in the virus areas. You could possibly search around usenet and get a few.

Funny... just today, I thought of tryin to get that AIM virus I warned everyone about and mess with it.... but my machine with all the usefull stuff on it doesnt have a power supply, so I cant. So, how many have you managed to catch?

umm that exacly what i am trying to get.. lol
i am looking around IRC right now, but i also want China, Nymda, and some kinda war dialer. to almost complete my archive, i lready have about 30000 virii. 9 DVD's.
