Once upon a time when I lived in FL...I worked for the local County branch of government...Part of my job was managing the insurance for the County Administration and all Elected Officials...One of the most rediculous cases I had to investigate was for a Liability claim...For this particular case I had to drive out to Indiantown which is way out in the boon docks...There is a small airport out there that is used primarily by private citizens who use the airfield as a place of storage for their small airplanes...On this particular day one of our Road Dept. employees decided it was a marvelous idea to drink enough beer while driving a large mowing tractor to plow through 5 privately owned planes...The part that got me...was that the director of the department didn't fire the reponsible party...Can You Imagine...

Oh there were plenty of other stories...but that was one of my favorites for "local good ole' boy stupidity"...and I am not speaking of just the "beer drinking, mower tractor driving, airplane killing employee"
