I followed your advice, but this is not working yet.

These are C:\Boot contents now:
cs-CZ\
da-DK\
de-DE\
el-GR\
en-US\
es-ES\
fi-FI\
fr-FR\
hu-HU\
it-IT\
ja-JP\
ko-KR\
nb-NO\
nl-NL\
pl-PL\
pt-BR\
pt-PT\
ru-RU\
sv-SE\
tr-TR\
zh-CN\
zh-HK\
zh-TW\
(All these with its bootmgr.exe.mui inside)
And besides ...
DVD\
PCAT\
Fonts\
PXE\
(Each of these folders with its contents already described in previous posts)
BCD
BCD.log
BCD.log1
BCD.log2
memtext.exe

That's a never ending story!

Did you try this since you copied the correct Boot folder to the drives?

Start Vista Boot Pro

click on the System Bootloader button

put a check in the Windows Vista Bootloader and All Drives, then click on the Install Bootloader button

Once that is done run Diagnostics and then click on the Manage OS Entries and you should see that you have entries for XP and Vista, the one that is blue is the one it will default to when you boot, and to get to the other OS you will have to arrow down or up to, in order to boot to it.
Start Vista Boot Pro
Game Over!!!!!!!!

If you don't have a Vista DVD, you need to beg borrow or steal one and do a startup repair to repair the Vista Bootloader

You don't know anyone with a Vista DVD?

You should be able to get one from your computer manufacturer, for a minimal fee usually around $10
