Note: The storm did weaken to a pont where it was at 105mph, a Cat 2, while over Florida and when it exited the other side it restrengthened to 120mph, a Cat 3.
Also it is expected to merge with Tropical Drepression Alpha and then getting partially caught up enough with a developing low off the coast of North East and becoming part of a sort of super NorEaster which will bring strong winds to the coast of New England and heavy rains to New England and maybe even snow to parts of northern New England and parts of northern New York, all while the center of Wilma remains well off shore.
