'Hurricane Hunters' - Take the Cyber Tour into a Hurricane

This is pretty cool... you can read up on what these guys do in the Air Force Reserve and take the Cyber Tour.

I had no idea they staid in the air up to 11 hours, and that usually as soon as one plane leave the storm (after making up to 4 passes through the eye over the course of 11 hours) that another plane is on it's way there. In fact, I suspect when the storm makes landfall, a plane is somewhere flying through the storm.

Talk about a 'cool' job... LOL

Its not flying in the eye thats toguh. Its getting there and getting back ;)

To do it 4 times is insane!!! These guys must have big brass ones.
