Hi, and thanks for any help in advance.

I am trying to get Dual boot aswell,
------------------------------------------------------

I have Vista installed on my C: Drive ( dont mind if I need to re install/format ONLY if I have to)

and XP on my D: drive ( I cannot FORMAT this drive due to lack of room, but can re-install IF need be.)

Iv have tried a bunch of things and still no luck,
Then I came across VISTABOOTPro and here I am.....

Iv tried a few things in the program...follow instructions ETC ETC....

just wondering if the below "details" would help any to Help me
with this problem
At the moment I am unable to boot into Vista and I do not get ANY
OS boot option at startup. Just goes in XP !!!!!

AND
can this program be run under XP as well as VISTA and still have the same affect on the same boot files etc...what i mean is that DO I HAVE to run this program in VISTA or can it be done from XP, to enable me to get to a DUAL boot situation

Thanx Guys for any help

Vista Boot Pro will indeed run under XP.

How did you install XP and Vista, and it what order, XP first and then Vista or the other way around?

I thought I HAD posted in the correct area, sorry.....

and thankyou yeshuas....nice to know it is doing the same thing in XP and VISTA.

I had XP going fine on my D: drive,
I did a clean Install of Vista onto my C: drive,
at that point I could only get Vista to boot,

I re-installed XP over the top of itself on the D: drive.......
then after playing with VistaBootPro....

I am now getting a dual boot option, but only the vista boot works,
The XP boot option comes back with an NTLDR error.

thanks again guys.

To post a screenshot here, you have to have an image-hosting site; these are generally available at no cost or a very low cost. Names like photobucket, walagata,......... others too. You simply upload the image from your computer to your image hosting site, then copy the URL of your hosted image and paste it into your message

I can see the image; are all 4 of your disks SATA? Or do you have some IDE HDD's in there as well?
