How to disable Media Player

Having problems w/Media Player..It over rules my Click & Burn software program. Is there any way to disable Media Player? Thanks

My first choice would be to look in Click & Burn's Options/Settings/Preferences (you get it) to see if it has a button or setting to make it the default. Also right right click the drive icon for you cd-rom, choose properties -> autoplay. goof around in there, too. You can probably go another route via the registry editor but I have no idea what to hack. maybe someone here does?
